Let me know if this is in the wrong forum please.
I'm looking for a cheap, ideally free image archive / library software.
We produce plays with deaf actors, and each play has anything from several dozen to 100 photos associated with it. We do about 3 or 4 plays a year.
We'd like to be able to tag photos, and pull up different collections of photos depending on the particular aim - PR, or for website, or email out, or give to an actor for their showreel.
Our set up - 4 / 5 staff, all on apple laptops. One central Time Capsule which we use as a NAS with all the photos on it in various folders.
Is this something iPhoto can do - one person importing them and tagging them and putting the iPhoto library on the Time Capsule, and then everyone else can access the library on the TC, as well as having their own personal iPhoto libraries? I don't really know enough about iTunes / iPhoto to be sure.
To be honest, I'm not even sure what this type of software is called.
Any recommendations? Nothing big or complex, just simple and cheap please.
Many thanks!
