Hi.
So had my USB just crash on me, died, and nothing I can do about it I guess.
I've tried other computers but nothing worked :( That was my back-up of all non-important work.

So I need a new USB and external HD, to back up everything.
What is the smallest (as in physical/looks) HD that you would recommend.

I dont need a 1TB HD, as I don't have that much info.
I was thinking either a 320 GB or a 500GB.

Are there any companies/brand names I should look at, or stay away from?
Thanks,

Chris

I'm using a SeaGate FreeAgent Go and quite like it. It's a few years old so it's only 160 GB, but it's available up to 500 GB ($110 CAD from NewEgg) nowadays.

gizmodo has a link in their deals of the day where the 500GB Seagate FreeAgentGo is only like $89 or so USD. I have one, got it for $109 on Amazon a few months ago, it's great!

At Xmas I got myself a WD 320GB drive - white and it looks great with the white MB. Works really well too.
