Looking for SMART drive checking software that will also check external drives

I know there are a bunch of developers that cover this but i can't find one that will also monitor external drives. I also want it to email me.

u can't check SMART on external drives, because USB/Firewire connections don't provide those information. you have to plug the hard disk directly to you computer mobo. The only connection available that allow you to check smart is eSATA, but I just read that, i didn't test it my own.
