Hello,
I work in the website dept. at my school. There are 9 people on the webteam. I am the only one who uses a Mac and i get a lot crap for it. It's not that I *hate* PCs...it's just that I prefer my iBook over the older-model Inspiron that they have provided for my use. (That, and the fact that whenever I open up the Dell I get sixty-billion popup ads for gay pr0n coming at me every five minutes...it gets annoying...)

So I can deal with all their crap about being a stupid Mac user, but after using Homesite a couple of times, I have to agree with them when they say Dreamweaver sucks and Homesite is a lot better. However, Homesite isn't available for Macs.

Can anyone recommend a program for the Mac platform with functionality comparable to Homesite?

Or...has anyone tried running Homesite from VPC?

THanks

Homesite is the only PC program that I miss after switching 3 years ago.

I have yet to find a suitable replacement. I use BBEdit for my HTML editing, and it's a good editor but it's not as good as Homesite.

For those unfamiliar with it, Homesite is an HTML editor that is great at helping YOU write HTML, rather than writing HTML for you (which I cannot abide).

I'd been a Homesite user since version 1 when it was a $9.99 shareware program by Nick Bradbury (who wrote it so that he could publish his now-defunct web comic strip "Dexter").
