Hi there,
I am looking for some software I can install on my MacBook Pro that can control LED lights. What I need is something that can control the light's colour, intensity etc, and that can be automated in time with music.
I have read online about DMX controllers but don't know anything about this kind of software.
Ideally, I could have a program that can interpret MIDI signals so that I can automate my lights inside a sequencer (such as Logic or Cubase) within which the song was created. This way, I could have the song play and the LEDs will be automated in time to the music.
Also, I don't know if I would need particular kinds of LED lights to achieve this. I assume some USB LED lights could do the trick? I only need to light an object on a very small scale - something that could fit on a computer desk.
Anyway, I am not sure if I have posted this in the right place. I am just hoping someone with a bit of knowledge on the subject could point me in the right direction.
Thanks!
Dan
