looking for some add on /upgrades for my early 2008 MBP

I currently have 2.4GHZ, 160GB SSD X25m, 6GB RAM. I am loving how fast the SSD can boot up.

I am looking for some updates on the hardware but i don't know anything else i need to upgrade.

I am sorry for sound like a spoiled brat but...i have some money to spend on this machine.

I don't have the money to buy a new one however.
 
You could always add an external monitor, wireless keyboard and Magic Mouse
Although those are more accessories than upgrades

I think you are pretty well tapped out in that regard

Do you have an adequate backup strategy
If not, that is where I would invest the money

yes, i do have an external monitor, magic mouse, and yes i do have some HD for backup...

Is there anyway i can upgrade the logic board to the uMBP? I think it wouldn't fit with my current case, so i might as well buy a new uMBP don't u?

I saw somewhere (ifixit i think) that there was a tutorial on removing the speakers. If that's possible, why not put in brand new ones? HP Envy has Monster/Dr. Dre speakers...

Can an SSD be put instead?

Someone a while ago suggested that the 16GB ssd chips in upcoming ipad is $10. You could put SL on it, and everything else on the harddrives. This way, the system runs super fast (but applications stay the same)
 
Geez, all you can upgrade is the RAM, which is sorta pointless, or get a bigger SSD, which you probably won't need... Though you could get a skin for the MBP, if you like skins that is:D

Not sure i understand what you meant. Is the 16GB going to the optical bay? Since i already have a SSD drive. DO i need an additional Hard drive?

Can i overlock this processor? if so, could someone tell me how? 4.1 MBP

Well the flash chips are pretty small. Size of a penny? I don't know how they work (they're NOT sata for sure... And not USB.)
