As title says, I'm just looking for some basic speakers to use while gaming or watching a movie on my rMBP.

Speakers must be sold at Best Buy stores or Bestbuy.com. Looking for something in the $~50 range.

Here are a couple of choices.

Creative - T3150 2.1 Bluetooth Speaker System (3-Piece) $59.99

Logitech - Z313 2.1-Channel Speaker System (3-Piece) $39.99

How is the quality on Bluetooth speakers? I understand wired is always better, but is the difference huge?

Have you thought perhaps about using headphones? Even 50 dollar headphones may sound better than the offerings you listed. While I am not a fan of Bose, their speakers (USB models) may be a very good fit for your needs but are a bit more expensive.

I do have a pair of Klipsch Image S4i II ear buds that I am very satisfied with and use when I don't want to disturb others. I was mainly looking for something to use all other times.

I'm not really looking for something to blow my windows out. Just something that has the best "bang for your buck" in the $~50 range.
