Looking for some kind of Docking Bar...

I am not exactly sure what to call the item I am looking for, I can only describe it. I need some kind of small bar to just keep all my coords and wires plugged in at home at my desk so that when i come home I can just slap the bar on the side of my macbook pro and be done with it.

I know many are going to say to just stop being lazy and plug them in but my roommate has a computer on the same desk and its a pain in the butt fishing for all my wires every time I come home. I also don't have the room nor the money to afford a full docking station.

Yeah i have seen this before, but like he said, i cant use my own screen, which is what i need. I need to still use the laptop but with something just plugged into the side while Im using it, this would be great if it didn't require it to be closed

Google macbook pro docking station, and they come up. They're about $250 though

Its just bulky and ugly in my opinion. but i guess whatever gets the job done

Why not just build ur own? Won't be pretty to look at but it will gt the job done at least?

Or just use a flexible cable tunnel so all ur cables are unified
