Seeking anyone with a iPhone 16 Pro Max and an AppleTV with default audio set to a HomePod(s).

When you open the AppleTV Remote app, the right side of the screen shows a microphone icon and the left shows the volume controls which correspond to the location of the side buttons on the iPhone. These icons disappear after a few seconds. This was working fine for me on my iPhone 15 Pro Max and works fine currently on my wife’s iPhone 16 Pro.

For my 16 Pro Max, the volume button icons on the left don’t show up. Instead, it looks like a piece of it shows up at the very top left of the iPhone display. Looks like just a semi circle.

This is the second iPhone 16 Pro Max this is happening with. I returned my first one today for a display issue. Was hoping someone could check this for me before I do a complete factory reset and fresh install. If this is a widespread bug, I’ll leave it alone till Apple addresses it. Thank you.

Edit- It doesn’t show up in a screen shot.

Anybody? It’s a very quick check of just opening the ATV remote app and checking the placement of the volume icons on the left of the display. Thanks in advance.

I have a 15 pro max and I’m getting the same.
Thank you so much for the response, for my sanity lol. Must be a bug specific to the Pro Max phones. Saw it on two 16PM but my wife’s 16P and my kids’ 16 and 16+ don’t have this bug. I didn’t notice it on my 15PM but maybe I didn’t really pay attention. Could’ve been there.
