I decided to switch from a 2020 MBA to a 2020 MBP and I'm looking for a simple, clip-on hard case for the 2020 MBP 13". I am also looking for a sleeve that will easily fit the 2020 13" MBP in its hard case.

A few important points:

- I want a hard case that is specifically made for the 2020 model. I do not want a case that says it will fit the 2019 and previous models, too. I made that mistake with my 2020 MBA, and the hard case was slightly too short because the chassis of both the 2020 MBA and 2020 MBP are slightly thicker than models from previous years.

- As far as the sleeve, it must have no zippers and fit the 2020 MBP in a hard case easily so that it slides in and out without too much effort.

- Please only suggest an item if you are using the item yourself and have first hand experience with it. Also, I do not wish to be lectured on why you think a hard case is unnecessary or ugly (this happened when I was asking for cases for my MBA).

Thanks!

I think you may have a hard time finding a sleeve that will fit whatever cover/case you select. Most sleeves are engineered for naked MacBooks, so I wouldn't get my hopes up.
My suggestion would be to forgo the hard case (I see limited benefit and dirt just gets trapped in there) and get a quality sleeve. I like and own the Picasso Lab 'classic' leather case which is very nice. Two coworkers purchased the sleeve after they saw mine and they seem quite happy.

I've never had a problem in the past. I've had multiple sleeves that easily fit Macs with thin hardshell cases - from the cheapest Chinese eBay sleeves made of felt, to more expensive options from Incase, etc.

I know what I like and want - I want a hard case and a sleeve.
