I like Synology products/software but I need advise how to setup a sharing files between iMacs/macbooks and also remote access plus strong backup.
Right now the office is setup this way:
2 imacs 1 macbook connected to a DS111 by network.
The DS111 keep all the files, cad drawings, catalogs etc..
I back up every night to external usb drive.
For the moment I don't access to the files remotely.

My question:
Which will be a better setup for:
1. able to access the files remotely when I travel with the macbook.
2. have a better strong backup.

I will not mind buy another synology.

idea..
buy a new dual disks synology keep in the office with RAID config with external usb for backup,
turn on cloud station,
bring the synology Ds111 at home for remote extra back up? just in case a fire in the office?

Is this will be a possible? Any option or better solution will be appreciate.
thanks.
