General [LOOKING FOR TESTER] Possiable iOS SHSH blob exploit!

Anyway, I was reading a blog post http://http://tihmstar.wordpress.com/2013/06/09/ios-downgrading-without-shsh/ this was able to downgrade iOS using an iFaith exploit. So that got me thinking, if you could downgrade to a different ios but get the side effect (Phone goes into DFU when on lock screen) is it possible to downgrade and use tinyumbrella to get legit SHSH blobs, stitch them with redsn0w and downgrade with SHSH and no side effects? The reason I am asking for a tester is I do not have a device I can *experiment* on so is anyone willing to give it a go?

Where do the signed blobs come from?

Well, in order to get to the firmware you edit .ifaith SHSH blobs to match the firmware and downgrade, however as these are not signed it throws the device into DFU, then after jbing with redsn0w you get the device out of DFU as the redsn0w kernel does not check the blobs, then use a blob recoverer to get signed blobs, or can you only get the blobs if apple is still signing???

This is what you can't do. SHSH BLObs come from Apple's servers, not from the phone. Once Apple stops signing that firmware, it is in no way possible to get them no matter what firmware you are on. Those still on that firmware are as out of luck as those on it.

You'd still be missing over 75% of the needed blobs to make iOS bootable.

Ahh, I thought they could come from either, I know that iFaith can get SHSH from phones on older firmwares and thought that things like TU or redsn0w could either save or submit the SHSH to cydia
