I would like to max out Ram in my older model MacBook Pro.

Can anyone recommend best place to buy RAM online for my MACbook Late2012 model?
I am in the USA.

In alphabetical order, Crucial, OWC.

Amazon is so full of shady Marketplace vendors and zero sourcing QC for Amazon sold items, they'd be the last place I'd go.

When upgrading RAM on my older, former iMacs, I always used Crucial. But OWC has a good rep, too. Agree with @Ray2 on Amazon. Too many risks involved, even if the price might be a bit cheaper.
