Hdd status is shown always in desktop using CMD+J ??

CMD+J opens VIEW OPTIONS, a little window, where you can select your view options, and as that window is context sensitive, clicking on the Desktop and then opening VIEW OPTIONS will you give different view options than doing the same when a Finder window is active.
In those VIEW OPTIONS you have the ability to check and uncheck several options, one of them is titled SHOW ITEM INFO, checking that will give you the same info display as shown in your screenshot.

To learn more about Mac OS X:

I asked because it's 02:31 am and Im in bed with my iPad and tired to get up and try everything on my iMac ;)
And I thought Europeans would be open to slightly different relationships, especially regarding taking computers into bed with them.

PS: It's 2:39 for me, guess I am European too. Slightly more open though.

;)

Okay. Didn't know, CET was spreading that far east, but hey, serves me and my ignorance right to not at least consider Africa as having the same time.

Have a warm night, here in GDR territory it feels like below zero, which makes sleeping a bit stuffy.

We have the 50% pass of people from India, Afrika WITHOUT documents, papers, passport that arrive to Europe, the other 50% of this pass is in Ceuta, also Spanish town in Afrika. You can see how strong is our government and their relationship with Marocco government, so, as strong as an ant in front of an elephant, we are the ant of course
