can't seem to find any that would work. I've scoured anywhere I could think of. Basically want a messenger that looks old and vintage that a 13" MBP could be stuffed into.

Any help?

Not bad. I found a few on Etsy that were the real deal. Stained, worn, freyed edges...that what I am looking for. From the link you sent I found German medic bags which look like they would work, they look new though

vintage as in vintage looking or something really old? lol

incase makes some nice messanger bags

Which merchant? Saddleback Leather or PorteenGear?

I learned of PorteenGear on the camera forums for custom camera bags.

Saddleback. When you click on the link you see at the bottom of the page:

" Laptop cases have been discontinued but you might want to check out the thin briefcase. It works really well for a carrying your laptop, and smaller than our tough, full leather briefcases."

But they look really awesome. I want one and I haven't even bought my macbook pro yet.

oh but it seems the thin briefcase is the same thing???

Coach has some nice leather items. I have a waterproof coach bag that has leather trim. My plan is to use it along with another sleeve to protect my future macbook pro.

Thats a good one, especially the tobacco. I am looking for something canvas and vintage. A few on Etsy, though I don't know how well they will work as a messenger/laptop tote
