Looking for VNC Software

Hi, I am currently using the free version of RealVNC Connect (only working via the cloud, therefore with internet) which allows me to enter into my session on my Mac once my computer is turned on, without needing a physical keyboard to enter my password (I do all this from my iPad via RealVNC IOS).



I will soon travel where there is no internet, and the only solution that RealVNC offers without internet is Direct LAN with a paid subscription.



So I'm looking for a free solution to replace RealVNC with the same functionality.

There are several paid options which work well and are worth the money but you won’t find a version that runs a screen sharing app on iPad. Jump Desktop is excellent and fast.

I have the RealVNC app on an iPhone and iPad and connect to a local Mac via Apple Screen Sharing. I'm not going through any cloud server. There's no RealVNC software on the Mac.
