Hello,

I have the latest 12-inch Powerbook G4 1.5GHz, right before the MacBooks came out, and I was wondering if it would work with the Dell UltraSharp 2407WFP monitor?

I have the DVI adapter to plug into the monitor, I was just wondering if the picture quality would be close to same as my laptop monitor. Would it be a problem because the Dell monitor is widescreen and my laptop is not widescreen?

No problems, it should work fine. The picture quality on the Dell should be quite a bit better than your built-in LCD in terms of viewing angle, contrast, brightness, color intensity...

I hope the OP doesn't mind if I ask, but would it work at 1920 x 1200?

I have a 4 y.o. Vaio, which I was hoping to run with this monitor, but I was worried that it may look 'stretched', if the monitor attempts to run at 1024x768 - my current resolution on my laptop's screen.

OSX will take care of the different aspect ratios.
