Best Buy is having their open box sale this weekend with a 10% coupon on top of the open box price. most things aren't marked down, but some are marked down substantially. i have my eyes on the following:

late 2013 Macbook Pro Retina 15" (ME294LL/A)
512GB storage
16GB memory
etc

regular price is $2,499.

open box price is $1,999. condition is listed as "geek squad certified and free of any damages and missing components/accessories". obviously i would verify this in the store

with the 10% coupon it becomes $1,800. after $40 in rewards it becomes $1,760. is this a good deal to you folks? i am still within the return period of my Macbook Pro 13" 256GB that i scored for $1,168 after coupon stacking at Best Buy last month (.edu + movers coupons + sale price)

That 15" is one of the most powerful rMBPs around. Go for it.

Considering I just sold a 2012 with the same specs (2.6GHz) for $1700, I'd say it is a good deal.
