Brief history: Medical professional using PC only at work, uses Macs/pc's at home for casual use, Final Cut Pro X as a noob, Microsoft office, photo editing on adobe as a noob. Media editing use is for personal hobby only, not professional, but I do love my tech and high quality videos/photos to make for my family.

Who's waiting for the refurbished M1 Mac mini? I'm looking forward to the price discounts on these that are usually spec'd out like with 1TB and 16gb ram for example. I'm looking into refurbished since I got a good deal 3 weeks ago with my 2019" MacBook Pro 16" with 1TB, 16gb RAM, and 5600M gpu for $2600 on apple's refurbished website. I only buy from apple's refurbished site.

I now have a late 2013 iMac 27" that is no longer being supported with Big Sur. I'm thinking of getting rid of this iMac through private sale or through apple's trade in program for $250.

My biggest use would be Final Cut Pro X as a noob video editor as a hobby or...dad hobby for my family since I use a gimbal with my iPhone 12 pro max to take videos. Other than that, hardcore gaming is on my custom built windows PC and Xbox series X. I gave up trying to get AAA games to work well on my Macs 3 years ago.

I'm trying to consolidate my tech stuff and sell some things as well since I have tech lying around that I hardly use and also to save space in my home "star labs". lol.

My question and point of this point is, who else got rid of lots of their other tech to consolidate into this combo?

MacBook Pro 16, gaming PC, xbox, LG 4K monitor, and adding a new Mac mini M1 to the 4K monitor? Sorry if this post doesn't make any sense, I just literally woke up with an idea to post here.
