Hi guys looking to move from my mac 2009 single cpu to pc reason is i need more gpu power and in my current mac i can only have 2 gpus . I am using resolve color grading program and 3d rendering applications and editing 2.5k raw video files.

What i was thinking to build PC around ASUS Z10PE-D16 WS LGA2011-v3 mother board or GIGABYTE X399 AORUS Gaming 7 basicly i will run 3 double gpus 770 4gb with 8 core ryzen and max out the memory.

What do you guys think any ideas and sugestions

It should be a substantial upgrade. Will recommend using Windows. Hackintosh might be asking for trouble on ryzen. I’m having trouble with USB 3.0 on z370 gaming 5 on High Sierra.

I recently built a Ryzen 7 8-core PC and wish I'd done it sooner. The rendering times in Hitfilm are excellent and it makes mincemeat of Handbrake encodes. Make sure you liquid cool it; under full load with all cores maxed out (overclocked as well) mine never goes above around 67c.
