I just sold a bunch of old video games and split half the earnings with my brother ($180 each) and $120 off my iPod Touch 2nd gen. I could make a solid $500 total if I find $200 more in things I don't use anymore.

I'm studying for finals right now so I have no clue what there is back home to sell. Things I want to sell could be:

  • Dolphin-related decorations (I loved dolphins as a kid so I have a bunch of light up stuff in my room).
  • Dirt bike (1967 Honda 50cc, has some carburetor problems, but I might hang on to it since it's my first bike).
  • Razor scooter, bikes, and roller blades that don't fit.

Things I can't justify selling are:
  • My Xbox 360
  • Legos and Hotwheels (save them for future kids).
  • Holographic pokemon/yugioh cards. I doubt they will go up in price anytime soon, but many years from now... who knows!

Have you guys had experience selling old things? I was going to have a garage sale a couple years ago, but it fell through.

LOL!!!! I also save my legos for my kids... But every year I look at the boxes, I get a sinking feeling that my kids won't even touch them... Like I did with my dad's inherited toys http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Meccano

And about those cards... I also have some "collector" pokemon cards... also saving them since probably 2000... and value has only gone down. Probably spent hundreds on cards and today, whole collections in mint condition are not even that expensive... so... I would not put my hopes up

Can't sell my baseball cards. But I have sold pretty much everything else including Pokemon cards, other sports cards, legos, etc.
