ive wanted to learn to develop for awhile
i know only VERY VERY BASIC objective -c so im considered a n00b so help a guy out?

If you look at the top of the iPhone/iPad Programming forum, you'll see "How do I get started programming on the Mac (or iPhone)?". There are also many other threads discussing what to book to use for learning iPhone development.

(Note: I usually don't post non-answers like this, but your question is getting asked over and over again in this forum when it's really not necessary.)
