Hey ppl

i am from Canada and looking to upgrade my hard drive but i dun know where to begin, what price i should be expecting and brand. im looking for the best price per gb. nothing like 1000gb for something ridiculously expensive. if anyone know it will be greatly appreciated.

Western Digital 320GB Scorpio. Pretty good price per GB.

And yes use MRoogle, and they only have 1TB drives for desktops. 500GB is tops on the notebook.

I did a bunch of research because I was contemplating this upgrade as well. Hope this helps you :).

For myself, I figured that doing an internal HDD upgrade wasn't for me. I'd rather buy a LaCie external 500GB/1TB FW800 drive to run as a scratch disk for Final Cut work. Replacing an internal is not worth the trouble to me, but if you decide to, it's not that bad of a process.
