Looking for a +1TB drive, problem is I don't know which one(s) would fit my mid 2012 Aluminum MBP! A lot of numbers there LOL! I'm looking for a non-SSD ones; I'm terribly sorry, I'm not into these stuff!

Thanks in advance!

I talked to them and they said this should work:

But that what the description says at the bottom of the page:

IMPORTANT OWC NOTES:

1- Only the MacBook White Unibody Late 2009 / Mid 2010, 13" or 15" MacBook Pro Unibody (2008-2012), and 17" MacBook Pro (2006-2011) models can accommodate a 12.5mm tall drive. For PC owners consult system specifications for maximum allowable drive height before attempting to install. (See compatibility tab for more info)

2- Drive not compatible for use in MacBook or MacBook Pro Optical Bays via Data Doubler. 9.5mm Required for Optical Bay.

Thanks for the help spink, I really appreciate it a lot!

I have 2 questions though.

1. The bigger the better for me so I found a 1.5TB one but it's 12.5mm so I think it's not going to fit right?

2. What is the data cache? For example "64MB Data Cache."
