Looking up people by their last names ...

Hi,

I was going to post, but never mind, ....

I mean, when I look (all my) people up in my iPhone and not by groups,
it would be easier for me to see last names as opposed to first names
in bold. I know I can also use the little magnifying glass to search for
people, but it is not what I am looking for either. I want to slide my
finger downwards and be able to see the last names. I tried looking
to see if it was possible in the preferences for the agenda.

If you can give me a hand I would appreciate any orientation.

Change the display order to Last, First in your "Mail, Contacts, Calendars" settings

I remember to have seen those settings, but I don't remember under what application. I have gone to the agenda and it is already set that way even before posting the initial message. I have also looked up under the system's general preferences, and nothing.
