I live in KC -- several of the Best Buys here got shipments today. I picked up a 64GB AT&T black around 1 in the afternoon. I missed out on the ones early in the day, but this one updated its inventory around noon.

A friend was able to snag a Black 32GB WiFi from a Best Buy in Grand Rapids, Mich. yesterday, while a couple others in the Chicago area (Naperville and Schaumburg) bought iPads last week. So, don't fret, the Midwest is still on Apple's radar.

I've had no problem finding/buying a couple here in Illinois. All of the ones I've found have been at Target.

I live outside St. Louis in IL but I think that some Targets are getting shipments in. Last week, I saw various models in stock at the Hampton Village Target. I was lucky enough to get mine on launch day at my local Target. I haven't seen any Best Buys with any stock though. Probably still filling reservations.
