My MacBook Pro (Nov 2006 -- MacBookPro2,1)'s headphone jack works, but it is hardly usable: it only seems to notice the headphones when the connector is in at particular angles. Of course, that also means that the slightest disturbance -- exceedingly easy to create when you have the computer on your lap -- will cause them to become unseated, and I'll have to wiggle it around a bit to find the right spot again. Has anyone else had this problem? Do you suppose there's anything I can do about it myself, or should I just take it to an Apple store?
