Hi, just got my iPhone 5 today. (Black 16GB).

The top left corner of the display when held firmly or pressed is loose but the other three corners of the phone are firm & solid. It feels as if the screen isn't fixed down properly.

Is this a common issue with the iPhone 5 or should I get it replaced? It isn't anything major but it's the kind of thing that could get on my nerves.

I suggest trying to get it replaced. Regardless of whether or not it could get on your nerves, I imagine debris could get inside the phone much more easily if the screen really isn't fixed down properly, which could cause problems later on.
