Gandalf takes a break on his MacBook Pro while filming "The Hobbit"

Let the software install wizard jokes fly! What you're looking at below is Gandalf, played by Ian McKellen, using his MacBook Pro while taking a break during filming of The Hobbit.

After seeing that, I personally just created these two pics on a whim!

Just what we need, fanboyism and mindless criticism of rival products (because we are all one, big Apple family, right?)

I've seen the picture posted as early as March 16. So probably not snapped yesterday.

Windows is a very good platform and I use it without any problems. Nice to see others using Macs but really, its personal preference. There's no right or wrong choice.

You may not like windows, but others do, who cares what they choose as long as you're happy with your choice.

I thought this type of winblows foolishness ended years ago.

Agreed. There is no right or wrong here, just personal preference and all that matters is each person is happy with what they have and shouldn't worry or make a fuss about what others are using.

Somehow, I doubt it will ever go away.

It seemed to decrease but you're right. Its also been eclipsed by high level of fanaticism between iOS and android.

That's the stuff that bugs me. The whole iOS vs. Android and the Ford vs. Chevy debates. I don't really care what others use as long as they're happy and I don't like people getting down on my choices.

Can't we all just get along? :p

I use both Mac and Winblows. 8 Macs and 3 Winblows machines.

Course none of them are running blocky-vommit (aka Win8)

President of Microsoft S. Senofsky was fired over the disaster that IS Windows 8

Some of you need a sense of humor.

Yeah, no....Windows 8 destroyed ANY possibility of it ending.
