Anyone in the Los Angeles area have a Verizon wireless outage?

Cant make calls, cant connect to LTE.

iPhone 5 only shows 3G icon but NO DATA.

Tried calling *611 and I all I get is a recoding to call *611 (which is did and I dont have a regular phone to call verizon)).

I was at an Apple Store trying to pick up my iPhone 5s GOLD when all this started happening.

Happened to my friend the other day. The cellular component on his phone had died. Apple replaced it.

As much as I hate to say it, the best place to ascertain the scope of local outages of all kinds is twitter. Search simple keywords like "L.A. Verizon" and check the most recent tweets. When something goes down; cable, internet, cell service, there are like 5 million 22 year olds huffing on twitter about it in like 30 seconds.

Oh and typing "OUTAGE???" is unnecessarily dramatic.

Lmao so true, I'm one of those 22 year olds.

Just an update for you all!

Somehow Verizon (or Apple) cut my line.

I have to call verizon from a landline to reconnect/activate my cell phone line.

So no phone for a day and can only comment to wifi. What a drag....

Night all. :)
