Lose Airport internet connection after sleep/screensaver

When my macbook goes into sleep mode or the screensaver I cannot get my internet to work. I have to then restart. This doesn't happen every single time but maybe 2/5 times. Anyone got any suggestions?

Your network settings are probably not set correctly. I used to have a problem like yours, my new iMac got disconnected after a while and I had to restart airport or rerelease dhcp to get it back again. Now at preferences, network, I set my tcp/ip options to manual, like I found on this page

Now everything connects automatically (as it did before) and it doesn't disconnect anymore. You can find the IP numbers you use at preferences, network, tcp/ip.
