Hello,

When I bring my 27" iMac out of sleep mode I have to unplug and plug the LAN cable back in on the back - otherwise it doesn't think I'm connected to the internet.

Does anyone know if there's a way to fix this?

I have a similar problem, but it's only safari that loses DNS functionality.

Changing DNS servers (even removing one) seems to fix it, which effectively takes the ethernet connection down for a second or so.

Next time this happens, can you try to ping www.google.com or something via a terminal session? If this works, try entering the IP address from the ping commend into the address bar of safari and see if the site loads. If this works it seems like we may have the same issue. Only started happening in the last cpl weeks. I have no fix yet.
