Every time I do something on my Mac, My HD seems to lose a couple hundred MB. It's REALLY ANNOYING!!! Today I had 42.79 GB available, and after some light internet browsing (and deleting caches) I have 43.4 GB available. What's taking up space?? Why is my disk acting odd?

Slow down, I think your math is wrong. You say "I had 42.79GB and after some light browsing, you have 43.2GB" You opened up 0.41GB or 410MB. Your disk is fine.
