Losing Exspose & Universal access Prefs

Can anyone speculate why I am losing the prefrences of "all windows" being assigned to mouse 3. And why the option to zoom in universal access is always not working. Only way to fix zoom is to turn off and back on again. No idea on a fix for expose.

Try using MainMenu to verify your preference files (and maybe, while you're at it, repair permissions). If that doesn't help, try and see if the problem persists in another account (make one if needed), and if it's OK there, try ditching the appropriate preference file(s), like ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.systempreferences.plist or others that are updated when you change the settings you're having problems with...

(Tip: Open the ~/Library/Preferences/ folder in a Finder window in list view sorted by Date Modified, open System Preferences, change some options and see what happens in the Finder window... )
