My iPhone 5 will randomly lose all capabilities related to internet connection while connected to any wifi network, not just my home wifi. The phone will show it still has a full wifi connection but I cannot browse or stream anything. If i turn my wifi off and switch to 4G LTE everything works fine. Also resetting the phone by holding down both the home and power button temporarily fixes the problem but it always reoccurs and quite often.

Losing internet while still showing full wifi connection

Your wifi icon shows connection status to the router, not if it has active Internet connections. Try deleting and setting the networks up again or resetting all network settings. Worst case, sounds like there may be a hardware issue.
