I'm a first time MacBook owner and still learning my way around.
When I first hooked my new MacBook into the network we have here at home I could see our router and my other computer (it's a Dell running Vista), which is what I should have seen. But something I clicked on my MacBook kicked off my link to see and access my Dell. The Dell is properly hooked up to the network, as I can see the Mac from it, but not vice versa. Is there a way to "refresh" what I can see on the network?
(and for those of you kind enough to answer, I'll probably need to be walked through what I need to do, as I have yet to fully find and learn how to use all the functions on the MacBook {obviously})
Thanks,
crazypumpkin
EDIT: I think I just fixed the issue by running network diagnostics. Not sure what it changed, but I can see the other networked computers now.
