The hard drive in my iMac burned out and I had it repaired at the apple store. This week when I went to update the software my administrative password no longer would work.
I attempted to correct the problem by creating a new account. I restarted in single mode, and went through the steps up to entering rm /var/db/.applesetupdone. However, "No such file or directory" came up. Does anyone have any advice of where to go from here?
