Hi guys,
I have a problem with Mountain Lion 10.8.4 on my MacBook Pro with a 2.3 GHz Intel Core i7 processor and 8GB RAM.
I was listening to some mp3s via the QuickTime player then, later on, I put on a Youtube video and I noticed no sound. I quit Firefox and tried again and there was still no sound. I opened an mp3 in QuickTime and there was no sound in that either. I have a copy of my log here. When I tried to play the mp3 QuickTime crashed and I have a copy of that log here.
I also tried playing an mp3 file in VLC and there was no sound there either.
I rebooted my computer and now the sound is working OK. Hopefully someone can help me and let me know if it's anything serious or sign of an impending failure.
