Reduce bass?? Can you screenshot it, please?Loading times for lossless tracks, however, are crazy. Is a bug, no doubt
Almost 30 seconds of waiting before playback starts!. However, once they do start, the playbacks is smooth. No glitches and stutters at all. Well, step by step, I suppose.
Also, the Dolby Atmos toggle does not seems to work at all. Perhaps another update of the Homepod OS is required for that.
Nevertheless, the final version of IOS 15 is going to be very exciting for the original Homepods!. Lossless and Atmos playback for Apple Music content, and a reduce bass settings. Great support for a discontinued product. Can´t complain, really.
Here´s hoping that, like @Itinj24 said, some of Siri in device processing arrives as well to the Homepod in one way or another. That would vastly improve Siri performance, although perhaps a more powerful processor is required for it.
Great “Reduce Bass” option!!! Yeah!Been there since Homepod OS 15 beta 1. Apparently, judging by all the reports, the changing on the sound signature is quite substantial.

Great “Reduce Bass” option!!! Yeah!
Only now, hope that iOS15 fixed the Homepods being so warm after 14.6 and 14.7. I had to disconnect Siri and Intercom to have the homepods at 30 degrees Celsius instead of 40…
I am afraid to reactivate Siri.
Yeah, although for me this improved with 14.7. Less hotter than 14.6. Still hot, though.
This is great but, I must say, you are one brave soul for downloading any Beta software to the HomePod… heck, I’m afraid to download publicly released software to it lol.
How is the default volume and bass on the HomePod now with the beta? There were reports (and I experienced this as well) of lowered bass and/or volume on the latest 14.7 software.
Ah yes… my apologies. Skimmed through it quickly while I was at work.No no no no. As I say in my OP, this was shared with the community by our ErikGrim in a reddit post. I merely posted it here, crediting him, of course.
I personally dont use any betas software on any of my devices. Never. Under any circumstances.
My Homepods, therefore, are on 14.7.
