lossless/express/dac remote libraries?

hey,

soon I will be running lossless through express, through toslink to a dac, and then from there to my amp. should retain cd quality yes...

my question is... is lossless transmitted if I am connected to and play from another itunes library on the network? so long as they are all lossless files?

Well, Im not quite sure I 100% understand but what I think you're saying...is that if your on a different Library than the one you want to stream through the AirPort Express?

You can have one Library on a separate Mac play through the Express while you use iTunes library on another machine.
It should transmit lossless files just fine, thats all I have and I have it stream through a few AEX's myself.

But you cant run two separate libraries at once as far as I know simultaneously if thats what your inquiring?
