Lost 15 gb of HDD space

Hi

I just went from around 15 - 16 gb of free HDD space to 1 gb. What happened?

I had just iMovie quit unexpectedly 2 times while importing around 2 gb of .dv, could this be the problem? I was however also trying to mount another macbook as an external hdd via firewire at the same time (this did not succeed).

Suggestions?

Empty your trashes, both the system trash and the trash in iMovie then have a look through your system for really big files and delete them
