So, had to replace my track pad on my MBP, Model #A1278. The replacement went smoothly, except when replacing the 4 SILVER screws(not the black one), I lost one. My question, can someone identify the screw and a good place to source one. Thanks!

According to iFixit, they are 1.2mm Phillips #00.
You can probably find replacements on Ebay. If none are listed, try messaging one of the prominent parts sellers to see if they might have any lying around. I've had luck with that previously for spare screws.

I recently did some work on a retina macbook pro 13 and lost a screw. After taking it apart several times I eventually gave up. When it booted, the sound on one side was terrible. After taking it apart again, I found the screw attached to one of the speakers (magnet).
