Hello! I'm over here!
I was just using my mac, with a lot of apps open i admit, but then when I hit F9 it froze. I hard rebooted and then when it got to the login screen, i had lost my admin user!!! As far as i can tell, my files on that account are intact, but i need to find a way to get it back..

update: i cant find my applications folder!!! Pls help, i had extremely important files on there!! This is in Leopard 10.5.4

I cant make a new admin user because my other user is standard!

I am so freaked out....

EDIT: i ran dscl . read /groups/admin GroupMembership
and it said that my old user had root privileges

also, system preferences says that my old user is a group?
