Had Airport Utility installed on my laptop which recently died. The network ,consisting of an airport extreme and airport express, is still working fine.

I want to install the software on my Vista desktop now. Is there a painless way to do this without reconfiguring the whole network?

Yes. Take the CD that came with your AirPort Extreme, pop it into your Windows machine, install AirPort Utility. Installing the program has no effect on your network settings. Think of it as a portal to see and change the settings that reside on your Extreme and Express. Nothing is saved in the program itself.

I'd suggest downloading it from Apple, but for some reason last time I checked they didn't have the latest version of AirPort Utility that came with my latest gen Extreme.
