First post for me here guys - have had a good search and can't find anything.
Ok - due to overcrowded dock I decided to create a FCS2 stack. For some ridiculous reason (in a rush, not concentrating etc) I didn't create aliases, I just dragged the apps directly into a folder and then dragged that to the stacks dock.
Since doing this, I hadn't attempted to start any of the FCS2 apps, but had checked they were there and seen them "fan out"in the stack when I clicked on it.
So, predictably, a few days later I'm now starting a project. Clicked in the FCS2 stack and....nothing. Checked everywhere - Spotlight and manual searches reveal no trace of any of the apps that were in the stack. Trying to open any FCP related file, for example, comes up with nothing.
I don't really care what happened (I just won't ever do this again!), but am wondering if the apps weren't actually trashed, is there something I can do to find them?
1. Is there anything else I can do - are they still there somewhere?
2. If not, is using Digital Rebellion's FCS uninstaller a safe and effective way to avoid the whole clean install hassle?
Any advice appreciated.
