Lost all my favorite locations in the file/open window in Mojave

Hi so I just noticed, I opened a folder in the file/open menu in multiple programs.

All my favorite locations on the left hand side of the open menu are missing!

Why did this happen and how can I restore the settings? Thanks!

If I understand the problem... Is there still a disclosure arrow? (small triangle next to the name box) If so, click that.
