Lost all photos in Safety P+V after upgrading iOS

I backed up and restored my phone when upgrading iOS (from 6 to 7), and all of my photos are gone from Safety P+V. Did I do something wrong? Any suggestions?

(Please feel free to delete, as I've posted this in the "iPhone Tips, Help and Troubleshooting" forum.)
