lost all settings (Safari/iTunes/desktop/dock)

updated some security patch yesterday, which prompted a restart. Did it and my macmini (Tiger) came back to original specs. No music, no pictures, no settings. After doing some poking around in the user folder, I see all my 'old' stuff in there. How do I make that the primary settings again without redoing it all.

argh...with one 'h'.

Did you change the name of your home folder?

yes. But when it restarted, it 'reverted' back to it's orginal name.
