So i recently got my dad an ipod touch and wanted to update the music on his old g4 with newer stuff i'd since bought and ripped onto my imac. I transferred it over and popped it into itunes and aside from a few albums almost all the artwork i had painstakingly put into every album was gone! why? this has never happened before and i been using itunes since the start. I've since then transfered all my own music over to another drive, deleted my own library and reloaded all the music back into itunes to find that all sorts of albums that previously had artwork are missing it as well. is't this stuff embedded in the files themselves? it always was in the past. And i see no rhyme or reason why some albums lost it and some did not especially since I've created new itunes libraries using the same files every time i got a new computer, or drive, or formatted this one:confused:
