Lost Desktop

Hi,

I currently installed MacOS High Sierra. Since I did not have enough space on C:/ where I install my MacOS always, I have installed it to the other drive where I keep all of my files.

But now, my desktop is lost and I can not see my drive with all of my files in it. Also all of my applications is lost?

Is there a way I can start my Mac with my old software and see my desktop and drive again?
